You're still alive, Bio? Fooled me. ;-)

Anyway, yeah. Apparently there is still a lot of demand for those games. Think Video Games Live, when they played the music from Monkey Island and Grim Fandango (amongst others). I don't think they would've done that if there wasn't interest, and from what I read in the forum, A LOT of people asked for that (and sometimes continue to do so.).

If they do get those rights, that would be... Well, awesome. :-D

EDIT:
While I neglected to mention it sooner, It seems I was right about Chrono Trigger DS, assuming this wasn't something assumed or taken out of context: The Playstation cutscenes will supposedly be included. While that's not totally surprising, let's just hope this game doesn't include the playstation enemy battle load time.

Monkey Island is something everyone should experinece. I doubt anyone would be interested with how much reading you have to do with the older LA games, and the graphics aren't very good compared to what people are used to now-adays, but they'd be missing out on some truly epic games of the past.

It's too bad people are missing out on Grim Fandango, at least I can still play the other LA games with SCUMMVM, but Grim Fandango is easily better than all of 'em and there is no way to play it anymore. :(
